Dat ieder volk anders is, is natuurlijk wel logisch. Ik ben helemaal into Brazza’s natuurlijk dus… von ik het heel leuk toen ik een mailtje kreeg met deze info!
1. The brasilian people are warm. We hug each onther a lot. We don`t shake hands, most of the times we give one kiss and a hug.
2. We have lunch instead of dinner. You`ll probably get hungry in dinner time. We have lunch about 13:00.
3. You probably don`t have to wash your clothes and your dishes. Most of the families have housekeepers. But this in only during the week. In the weekends, you have to help (clean your dishes and your room).
4. Prepare to get up early. School in Brasil stars at 7:00 or a little bit later. It ends about 12:00 or 12:30.
5. The students must wear uniforms (t-shirt) in school.
6. We don`t cycle like here. You probably go to school by car, bus or on foot.
7. It`s not so safe to walk on the streets alone especially during the nights and in big cities.
8. Brasil is a hot country. Don`t take too many winter clothes (exception for who are going to the south of Brasil. Then, it`s colder but nothing like here in Netherlands)
9. Don`t take too many clothes. First because the clothes we wear are different. Second because clothes in Brasil is cheaper.
10. You have to give small presents to your families and take with you stroopwavels. I`m sure they will like.
Relaxed dus, niet meer afwassen, uurtje of 1 uit in de middag en veel stroopwafels eten, want die lusten zij daar ook graag!
Groetjes, liefs en een kus!
Dreetje! X
